Grade 3:

III. Speaking A. Participate as a contributor and a leader in a group.
IV. Writing B.  Use available technology.
V. Research   A. Use available technology…  B. The student will solve problems through asking questions, conducting research, discussing with peers, thinking aloud,… and conferring with peers and teacher.  C. The student will plan and conduct investigations and present findings in written and oral forms.

Grade 4:
I. Reading/Literature F. The student will select books for personal reading interests.
III. Speaking  E. The student will present information through… visual displays…
IV. Writing   B.  The student will edit final copies of writings.
V. Research   A. The student will use information resources to research a topic.   B. The student will plan and conduct research by accessing and selecting information from print, … and on-line resources: narrowing a topic; and combining information from a variety of sources, gathering additional information as needed.

Grade 5:

II.  A. The student will listen, draw conclusions, and share responses in subject-related group learning activities.

VI.  Computer/Technology Standards  D. The student will communicate through application software.  Create a 1-2 page document using word processing skills, writing process steps, and publishing programs.  Use simple computer graphics and integrate graphics into word-processed documents.  Use local and worldwide network communication systems.
