(Exodus 3:14)
If God exists, He has attributes. No one can give attributes to God or take attributes away from Him. Any god that has attributes other than those that belong to God is not God--it is an idol.
(Exodus 20:3)
If we want to know we are worshiping the God who is (the I AM who spoke to Moses) and not some "designer god" we have imagined, we must be willing to search out who God says He is.
(John 1:1)
Start somewhere. At first you may see what appear to be inconsistencies, but if you are faithful in your search of the Scriptures, you will soon discover how consistent it really is. And the more you read the more you will love it--down to every wonderful detail.
(John 3:16)
I cannot be true to the God I have come to know and love and not be concerned about the salvation of those I love. Please do not be offended that I have chosen to give this to you. I give it out of love for you and a genuine desire that you may have the best of all there is in all of eternity--salvation through God's Son, the Lord Jesus Christ. I pray that you will search the Scriptures to learn the truth about who God says He is. And I also pray that, if you haven't already done so, you will accept Him as your own personal Savior accepting His sacrificial death on the cross as the pardon for your sin.
